Rwanda – Vunga Sun Dried
Elegant. Fruit-Led. Incredibly Sweet.
High in the volcanic mountains of Rwanda's Nyabihu District, the Vunga Coffee Washing Station has earned an international reputation for producing some of the country's finest coffees. Managed by a remarkable women-led cooperative, Vunga brings together hundreds of passionate smallholder farmers who share a commitment to quality, sustainability and community.
This exceptional Sun Dried lot begins with carefully hand-picked, fully ripe Red Bourbon cherries. Rather than removing the fruit immediately, the cherries are dried whole on raised African beds beneath the Rwandan sun. Over several weeks, the fruit's natural sugars slowly infuse the bean, developing extraordinary sweetness, vibrant fruit character and a beautifully silky body.
The result is a cup that is lively yet refined, showcasing Rwanda's unmistakable elegance with layers of juicy berries, stone fruit, honey and delicate floral notes.
Roasted in small batches by CP Roasters, this coffee celebrates the craftsmanship of both producer and roaster, delivering an unforgettable cup from one of Africa's most celebrated coffee origins.

Sun Dried Processing
For this lot, only perfectly ripe cherries are selected before being slowly dried on raised African beds under the Rwandan sun. The extended drying period allows the fruit's natural sugars to develop remarkable sweetness and complexity while preserving the vibrant clarity for which Rwandan coffees are renowned. The result is a cup that is expressive, fruit-forward and exceptionally clean.
